Description Prominent in San Francisco Muni’s F-line fleet of PCC streetcars is the red & orange Pacific Electric Car #1061 representing what once was the best transit service in the U.S. This tribute livery recognizes Southern California’s largest rail network before the automobile and the freeways took over. Designed as the perfect streetcar in the 1930s by the Presidents Conference Committee, 5,000 of these streamlined beauties once served 33 different North American cities. Muni’s PCC fleet currently honors more than 20 of these cities. This wooden train model of PE Car #1061 is sized to run on Brio and Thomas wooden tracks, so kids can use it with their existing wooden train sets. Toy comes boxed, and measures 7″ long x 1 1/2″ wide in. x 2″ high. Wheels move and turn with the track. Ages 3 and up.
