1 1/8” cream nylon ball on rattan. Hardness Scale = 8 Rattan shaft 7.5mm thick ( or – due to natural taper of rattan ) and 13.5” long. Round sound, not as bright as others with a more rich and mellow tone. Perfect for achieving a variety of sounds and colors on xylophone especially in auditions. Useful for many excerpts in the orchestra where you wish to get a warmer and darker sound.
