1″ opaque white poly ball on carbon fiber handle with soft latex grip Hardness Scale = 5 11 3/4″ overall length. Same ball as the K12 model without a brass insert. This combined with the fiberglass shaft gives it a totally different sound and character which is always desirable when trying to expand your variety of sounds for glockenspiel. All of my short carbon fiber mallets are invaluable to players taking auditions that run up against low grade glockenspiels with thin/light bars. These are the mallets to use in those situations! One of my personal favorites for use on woodblocks.
