1.2″ x 1.1″ Oval Ball. The KBL2 model is a hybrid of two of our most popular models. The shape has been copied from the KH1 model and the material is the same as our KBL model. This makes for a heavy general mallet with a dark warm quality suitable for almost any xylophone part and perfectly suited for glockenspiel as well. Because of it’s unique head shape it produces the best and loudest glissandos you can get. For movie music and pops concerts where you have to constantly jump from xylophone to glock, this will be your go to mallet.
